SmartStep : Choose the SmartStep plan on your SIM card and benefit from prices that save you money the more you use your phone. That’s because you only pay standard rates for the first 3 minutes and for the first 3 text messages you send each day. Calls cost 30p per minute for the first 3 minutes, on all standardcalls, thereafter the rate drops to just 5p per minute. Your first 3 text messages will cost you 12p each dropping to 9p per message for the rest of the day. Picture messages are a standard 36p per message. It's easy to change to the SmartStep plan by calling 23454.
Standard calls are classified as standard UK local and national calls, calls to Voicemail and calls to other Vodafone mobile phones. Standard rates apply to these standard calls. Weekends are all day Saturday and Sunday. Standard texts are texts of up to 160 characters sent to UK numbers (not premium or reversed charge rate). Calls to Vodafone’s automated helpline are FREE of charge.
